Machinery Design Coordinator – Automotive

Your responsibilities

  • Lead machinery projects from concept to start-up – develop technical specifications and coordinate work with suppliers, process engineers, and production sites
  • Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers, together with the purchasing team, to select optimal solutions
  • Manage project schedule, budget, and quality (QCD) – identify risks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery
  • Verify and accept machinery – perform provisional acceptance at suppliers (tests, checklists, R&R, Run-off) and final acceptance on-site
  • Support production ramp-up – participate in first-part manufacturing, process optimization, and cooperation with plant teams
  • Standardize and improve processes – create and update design standards, analyse problems, and implement innovations
  • Develop and evaluate suppliers – communicate standards, provide training, assess project execution, and ensure technology transfer
  • Support manufacturing plants – troubleshoot technical issues, perform improvement actions, and modify machines in serial production
  • Deliver technical training – train factory staff on the use of new machinery and innovative processes

Our requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial automation
  • 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing functions. Automotive preferred
  • Experience in battery pack assembly industrialization preferred
  • English level B1
  • Technical knowledge of automation, mechanics, electricity, CE requirements, and machine conformity
  • Proven experience in special machine development in high-volume, highly automated serial production
  • Technical mastery of industrial processes and standards (machine design, errorproofing, process control)
  • Problem-solving tools (8D), Machine FMEA and DFM/A methods
  • Knowledge of Ergonomics, lean manufacturing principles. Understanding of process capability
  • Fluent Polish required
  • Residing in Poland required
