The role of Machine Project Expert is based in our Lighting Business Group in Niemce.

Responsibilities:

1. Industrializing and introducing new products in the field of electronic & SSL devices (Solid State Lighting) production with a strong focus on manufacturing equipment and their development;
2. Supporting the development of process and testing concepts according to the standard processes and norms;
3. Equipment/machine build with focus on the machine concept, design study, and the first concept drawings (SolidWorks, AutoCAD etc.) and cycle time simulation considering the LEAN and low automation principles;
4. Supporting and cooperating closely with the research and product development department to ensure the product design for manufacturing in the early phase (Tools: Dfx, DFMA, PFMEA etc.);
5. Supporting equipment supplier scouting in the context of identifying and developing key and basic technologies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering;
2. Several years of experience with technical and production-related project coordination;
3. Advanced knowledge in the field of project management;
4. Know-how in EU safety legal requirements;
5. Simulation in Siemens NX or other robotic simulation software (KUKA, EPSON etc.);
6. Intercultural understanding and willingness to travel nationally and internationally (approximately 30% of working hours);
7. Knowledge in m- and e-CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PADS) would be an advantage;
8. Self-confidence in combination with good communication skills and assertiveness.
