At Nomagic, we’re on a mission to teach robots the real world. We’re now looking for a Machine Learning Manager who’s ready to deep dive into the hard problems of understanding the real world, guide and unblock multiple ML efforts, and collaborate closely with other parts of the organisation.

Problems we’ll solve together

• Build self‑organised, well‑functioning teams focused on making our robots intelligent and our customers happy
• Build a culture of trust and open feedback, disregard for the impossible!
• Enhance robots with capabilities to autonomously manipulate objects using advanced grippers (suction cups, finger grippers and other advanced tools)
• Take responsibility for deploying and continuously improving ML systems in production and measuring their impact in a data‑driven way
• Prepare and execute research and development efforts and their production roll‑outs
• Develop interfaces and APIs for the integration of machine learning algorithms with robots and warehouse management systems

Desired skills

• 5+ years of experience with production‑grade deep learning systems; computer vision is a strong plus
• 3+ years of experience in people management
• Technical leadership skills & experience
• Great problem‑solving and proficiency in one of the modern programming languages (we use Python)
• Experience in designing complex, multilevel software systems
• Fluent communication in English

• 30‑minute call with a Recruiter
• 60‑minute Coding Interview
• 45‑minute Hiring Manager Interview
• On‑site: half a day of interviews & discussions at the office
• We make the final decision after a maximum of 4–5 days after an on‑site interview. Expect feedback regardless of our decision.
