Join a cutting-edge project within the Center of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence, supporting the development of transformative medicines in Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development (pRED). You will contribute to the "Target Evaluator", a GenAI-powered multi-agent tool developed in collaboration between Translational Medicine Neuroscience and Data & Analytics teams. The project, active since Q3/2024, is transitioning from MVP to a production-grade solution.

Machine Learning Engineer – GenAI / LLMs / Python
Your responsibilities
- Deliver agile software development services in alignment with the "Target Evaluator" project plan
- Support the team with technical consulting and engineering guidance
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of a GenAI multi-agent system
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for scalable and reliable service interaction
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab and Kubernetes
- Apply ML engineering practices to support data-driven model development and deployment
Our requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience: ~5 years of professional experience in software engineering or ML engineering
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python and solid understanding of software development best practices
- APIs: Proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- DevOps/CI-CD: Familiarity with GitLab, GitOps, and Kubernetes
- ML Engineering: Experience with ML engineering or MLOps practices
- GenAI: Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and multi-agent systems from an engineering perspective
- Language: Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Experience in High Performance Computing (HPC) environments
- Background in life sciences or prior work in the pharmaceutical/biotech domain
