We are looking for a Low-code engineer with experience with Microsoft technologies, to produce and manage new specialized content and capabilities for our customers to deploy and use to support enterprise use cases. Through our SaaS platform Orbus Infinity, customers can self-serve the specialized solutions and content they want without needing to interact with or have a knowledge of the low code solutions underneath. Currently theses are primarily developed using Microsoft Logic Apps but we are also developing integration into a new low code platform as an alternative means of implementation.


The main objectives of this role are:

  • Create customer facing solutions via low code technologies, that deliver automations and configurations within our SaaS platform, Orbus Infinity
  • Build technology following software engineering practices, using productivity tools for faster results
  • Understand expected outcomes and propose solutions that enable customers to deploy and address the new use cases
  • Research and analyze appropriate delivery methods for the solutions that can dovetail into or improve on existing deployment processes
  • Continuous improvement of the current process and delivery platform


Core Responsibilities:

  • Co-defining, developing and maintaining specialized content and tools using low-code capabilities, especially using Microsoft suite tooling (Logic Apps is the current tech)
  • Work with the business and SMEs to shape and improve those new components during development and through ongoing maintenance
  • Overall responsibility of delivery of the new components: from implementation to
  • deployment and maintenance
  • Growing and evolving tooling and best practices to ensure Orbus low code solutions are built, tested and deployed efficiently and reliably
  • Facilitate empowerment of other squads to support the maintenance of existing low code solutions
  • Contributing to documentation and guidelines


  Requirements:

  • 3+ years in a development role
  • Expertise in Microsoft Low Code tooling (Flow, Logic Apps etc.)
  • Able to put the customer experience first and build solutions with this at the forefront
  • Understanding of what forms best practice principles
  • Well organized, with the ability to plan out and articulate
  • Ability to speak the language of the business, discuss the business problems we are trying to address
  • Solid understanding of API interaction, and experience of using low code solutions to communicate between different systems
  • Experience with Scrum and development in an agile environment


Desirable:

  • Exposure to creating user focused solutions within SharePoint, Teams, and other Microsoft platforms
  • Working in an automated continuous delivery environment
  • Curious about and proactively researching how new technology can support use case delivery more efficiently
  • Comfortable to engage and work with internal stakeholder remotely
  • Experience in challenging constructively to ensure use case is efficiently addressed
  • Enjoy learning about new products, testing the written documentation and enthusiasm in becoming a hands-on user
