Daikin Europe is a leading HVAC provider with a strong presence across the EMEA region. The Business Support branch in Warsaw focuses on supply chain optimisation, customs coordination and master data management for Daikin’s distribution network.
Responsibilities
- Report weekly import transit lists to customs and manage related documentation.
- Check and follow up temporary storage (TS) operations and initiate actions with DENV parties.
- Upload A.TR certificates and invoice/REX declarations on a weekly and ad‑hoc basis to the customs system.
- Send pre‑alert mails for import clearances in various countries.
- Process daily globalisation activities in the SAP GTS system, including undefined movements and stock comparison.
- Provide first‑line support for the SAP GTS system.
- Follow up on payments of import duties in all EMEA countries.
- Maintain master data in GTS, including commodity code creation.
- Control monthly stock sheets, import globalisation declarations, outbound A.TR reporting and invoice declaration lists.
- Manage exit confirmation follow‑ups for BE, CZ and IT, external agent export declarations, invoice control and timely T1‑document closure.
- Prepare Intrastat reports for DENV countries.
- Communicate detected errors and questions with the Daikin Europe Customs team in Belgium.
Qualifications
- Good coordination skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication at all organisational levels.
- High level of accuracy and timeliness to meet official deadlines.
- Business‑analytical skills and an eye for detecting errors.
- Knowledge of SAP, especially S4/HANA and GTS, is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of macros and VBA is a plus.
- Relevant experience with Incoterms, customs formalities, VAT and logistical processes is preferred.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Team player with a collaborative attitude towards colleagues and cross‑departmental partners.
