Main Job Purpose:

Logistics Senior Specialist is responsible for daily managing transports from factories and warehouses within Europe to secure on-time deliveries. The role efficiently coordinates transport execution between factories and corresponding affiliates, including tasks related to portfolio management, outbound deliveries creation, transport booking, invoicing, and return orders. The Logistics Senior Specialist is also the first point of contact for carriers, factories, customs brokers, and the Centralized Operation Team. The aim is to perform all tasks at an expected high service level with a focus on continuous improvement. Data analytics, reporting, performance monitoring, and KPIs delivery are integrated parts of the role.

Responsibilities:

1. Portfolio management and outbound delivery creation
2. Transport booking coordination
3. Dock booking management and storage issue resolution
4. Customs broker communication & follow up
5. Invoicing process
6. Daily close collaboration with stakeholders
7. Transport costs and claims management
8. Logistics quality issues resolution
9. Spot buy exception management
10. Inventories review
11. Warehouse cost management
12. Continuous improvement program
13. Support with KPI delivery and proper monitoring
14. Participating in regular meetings

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills:

1. University degree (minimum Bachelor); logistics/planning can be an advantage
2. Fluency in spoken and written German
3. Fluency in spoken and written English
4. Process development, improvement, and implementation experience
5. Self-motivated and independent personality with strong negotiation & problem-solving skills
6. Good understanding of supply chain and supply planning business drivers, organization structures, and key metrics
7. Well-developed interpersonal/communication skills
8. Working knowledge of ERP systems like SAP
9. Ability to work under time pressure and quickly set priorities
10. Experience in supply planning or logistics
11. Customer service-related experience
12. Good interpersonal skills: communication, influencing

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:

1. Previous experience in SAP
2. Another European language will be an asset
3. Experience in areas such as production scheduling, inventory management, or supply/operations planning
4. Advanced MS Excel
5. Strong analytical skills required
6. Creativity, passion, and engagement
7. Team-working oriented
8. Energetic and pressure resistant
9. Customer service mindset
