Hudson Talent Solutions, on behalf of our global chemical manufacturing client, is seeking a Logistics Operations Team Lead. The client offers a hybrid working model with the office located in Warsaw, Poland.
About the role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Inbound Team Lead to oversee inbound operations across multiple external warehouse locations in Europe. This is a hands‑on leadership position focused on driving team performance, ensuring operational accuracy, and continuously improving inbound processes.
You’ll manage a team of logistics specialists and ensure all inbound activities‑receiving, put‑away, ASN accuracy, and stock controls‑run efficiently and in alignment with key KPIs. You’ll play a critical role in developing your team, resolving operational challenges, and contributing to process improvements across our European network.
Reporting to: EU Logistics Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and motivate a team responsible for inbound activities across external European warehouse locations.
- Plan and coordinate daily inbound tasks to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods, documentation, and system updates.
- Assist team members during complex situations, operational exceptions, and escalations.
- Track, analyze, and report on key inbound KPIs (e.g., receiving accuracy, on‑time receipts, put‑away performance), ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- Create and implement development plans for team members to enhance skills, engagement, and overall performance.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inbound workflows and service levels.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Planning, Inventory Control, Warehousing, Transport) to resolve issues and enhance end‑to‑end supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and standardized operational procedures.
- Participate in and support cross‑country or multi‑organizational projects involving inbound operations, ensuring your team delivers aligned and high‑quality contributions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Supply Chain ideally within a multi‑site or international environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Team Lead or similar leadership position, with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of coaching, motivating, and supporting team members.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
- High level of ownership and accountability with a proactive, hands‑on leadership style.
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and drive process enhancements.
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems, preferably SAP, and confidence in working with data to identify trends and prevent operational issues.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast‑changing environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
