Job Description
As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end management of the company’s supply chain. Your role includes coordinating resources, overseeing logistics processes, ensuring efficient inventory management, and coordinating deliveries. You will manage a team of approximately 40 people, maintain safety compliance, collaborate cross‑functionally, and report directly to the General Director, influencing strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
- Planning and optimization of logistics processes: design, implementation and improvement of logistics strategies aimed at maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
- Resource management: plan the needs in terms of resources (human, technical, material) necessary for the timely and effective implementation of logistics tasks.
- Warehouse management: supervise inventory processes, report inventory levels and ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Ensuring timely and complete deliveries: coordinate transport and distribution to guarantee customer deliveries in line with expectations.
- Team management: effectively manage a subordinate team, setting priorities, delegating tasks, motivating and developing employees.
- Safety and compliance: responsibility for health and safety and operational compliance with laws and industry standards.
- Cross‑departmental collaboration and reporting: work closely with sales, purchasing, marketing, and other departments to keep business processes running smoothly and continuously.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, including team management.
- Thorough knowledge of logistics and warehouse management, including warehousing, transport and inventory management processes and related regulations.
- Higher education (preferred majors: logistics, management, economics).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively organize work, prioritize tasks and make decisions.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills: ability to organize work independently, motivate the team, build business relationships with service providers.
- Goal‑oriented and flexible in adapting to change.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and experience with ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of English and very good knowledge of Polish.
