Stellantis Gliwice was established as a result of the merger of Opel Manufacturing Poland and PSA Manufacturing Poland and is part of the fourth largest automotive concern in the world - Stellantis. The company includes: a light commercial vehicle plant in Gliwice, a powertrain plant in Tychy and two Shared Service Centers - financial and HR and payroll, providing services to other branches of the company in Europe.

Stellantis N.V. ("Stellantis") is an international automotive concern that was formed after the merger of Peugeot S.A. ("Groupe PSA") and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. ("FCA").

Scope:

The Commodity Buyer will be responsible for managing sourcing, contract execution, and supplier performance for an assigned set of commodities, interacting with various stakeholders for Stellantis, i.e., Engineering, Program Team, Supplier Quality, Supplier Risk Management, Purchasing Finance, Accounting, and Cost Engineers, in order to coordinate the various actions to manage Request For Quotations or Contract Execution.

Main responsibilities:

Responsible for managing strategic and tactical purchasing for parts or vehicles flows (land or overseas)

• Manage strategic sourcing for transport inbound and outbound for various families: Full truckload, Less Truck Load, air freight & ocean, vehicle transport
• Run RFQ/RFI process, utilizing collaborative project management with internal stakeholders to negotiate contracts to drive productivity and quality
• Manage and animate supplier panel to develop strategic and operational level relationships with major and strategic suppliers to achieve expected productivity and quality.

Requirements:

• Engineering or Economic Master Degree is preferable
• Transport or Purchasing sourcing experience
• Project management experience
• Purchasing negotiation skills
• Good level in performing quantitative analysis
• English language proficiency
• Knowledge of MS Office (in particular MS Excel and Powerpoint)
• Analytical skills and problem-solving competences
