The function of Loan Operations is to provide an administration service for UniCredit Group (“the Bank”) Structured Lending Syndicated Loans and Agency Portfolios. The team handles a portfolio of loans and commitments for an international group of lenders, including UniCredit Bank GmbH (“UCB”) and other financial institutions such as investment banks.

The Core Lending system adopted by the Bank for Loan Operations is Loan IQ (“LIQ”). LIQ is a market standard software used provided by Finastra for recording transactions / positions within the Bank.

The process also involves monitoring exposures and commitments, as well as utilizing downstream systems that support data management and reporting within UCB.

The open position we are offering will be focused on the management of the Syndicated Loans in which UCB acts as participant and/or bilateral.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Process a range of transactions for an international multi-currency portfolio, within relevant currency and system cut-off times as part of the day-to-day loan administration,
• Support other business functions including, Relationship Managers, Loan Agency and Loan Services teams,
• Execution of operational business processes of L&A using mainly Loan IQ,
• Management of internal and external customer correspondence and enquiries effectively and in accordance with current Service Level Agreements

Qualification and competencies

• Good level of higher education.
• Fluent English.
• Knowledge of relevant banking products handled within the Loans/GTB areas.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated and resilient, good in time management.
• Availability to work during Polish Bank holidays in support of operational needs.
• High risk awareness and solution-oriented approach.
• Previous experience in Network (i.e. Relationship Manager) or Credits Area is preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous experience in Loan IQ software for Agency or Participant and Bilateral business is a plus.
• Good understanding of loan agreements/contracts is also a plus.
