Job Description
We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as a standalone linear infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Our clients are from the private and public sector and include long‑term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our office has an established track record of successfully delivering roadway designs across the USA, Australia, Canada, and the Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic transportation projects as part of a diverse and multicultural Enterprise Capabilities Team (Poland/Spain).
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Work on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC, with work being reviewed and supervised by senior or experienced engineers.
- Perform daily work under a designer’s supervision, including geometric design of linear infrastructures (highways or railways).
- Use computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. Ability to use it for geometrical design.
- Work on complex drawings in 2D and 3D, including markups and CAD works.
Qualifications
- Experience on highway design (and/or railway) and/or a clear appetite to develop a technical career in that field.
- Some experience in geometrical design with at least one of the following packages: InRoads, OpenRoads / OpenRail, Rail Track, Civil 3D, Geopak or 12d Model.
- Good command of CAD software (preferable AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).
- Communicative level of English (oral and written).
- CV in English language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering.
