Lightning Protection Technician
The purpose of the role is to install Lightning Protection and Earthing Systems on a variety of structures across all forms of private, public, industrial, commercial & Data Centre sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Install lightning protection and earthing systems on Data Centres and various tall structures. This will involve working to pre-designed schemes, including drawings, a risk assessment and method statement.
- Undertake upgrades to existing lightning protection systems to specified instructions provided.
- Accurately complete Company paperwork including point of work risk assessment, job sheets, marked up drawings, material schedules and timesheets and ensure this is returned to the office-based team.
- Provide onsite communications and advice to either the client or managers of a project, ensuring the Company is professionally represented at all times.

Essential Criteria:
- Applicants must have excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in the field is essential specifically with installation of Dehn HVI System or equivalent.
- Experience working on commercial and industrial projects.
- Good knowledge and commitment to health and safety standards and protocols.
- TUV Health & Safety training or equivalent.
- Manual Handling training.
- Working At Height training.
- IPAF training.
