We are supporting our client – GAP İnşaat - one of the leading general contractors – in recruiting for the position of Lifting Supervisor to join a nationally strategic project: the construction of the FSRU terminal, one of the key energy investments in the region, to be built in Gdańsk.

What we expect
- relevant technical qualification or lifting certification
- minimum 5 years of experience in offshore lifting operations, including heavy lifts
- strong understanding of offshore lifting standards (e.g., LOLER, IMCA, API RP 2D)
- knowledge of rigging practices, crane operations, load charts, and HSE procedures
- good English communication skills and ability to lead multinational lifting teams

Your tasks
- supervise daily lifting operations, including heavy lifts, vessel lifts, subsea equipment handling, and structural installations
- ensure lifting activities are conducted according to approved lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements
- inspect lifting equipment (e.g., cranes, slings, shackles) and verify valid certifications
- lead toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; enforce permit-to-work and HSE procedures
- monitor rigging crew performance and ensure safe rigging practices are followed
- coordinate with barge masters, crane operators, engineers, and offshore supervisors
- maintain accurate records of lifting activities, checklists, and incident reports
