As the Business Services Competency Center at Sii, were seeking License Management Specialists to join our growing team, providing services in regard to software assets management for our clients.

As a License Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with software licensing agreements, optimizing license usage and minimizing costs. You will work closely with various departments within the organization to assess software needs, track license usage, and implement strategies for license optimization.

Your Role

1. Monitor software license usage and ensure compliance with licensing agreements
2. Optimize software & license portfolio
3. Support all global software assets management processes
4. Develop and implement processes for tracking software licenses across the organization
5. Provide recommendations for license renewals, upgrades, and new purchases based on usage analysis
6. Serve as a subject matter expert on software licensing policies, procedures and tools
7. Collaborate closely with vendors and internal stakeholders

Your Skills

1. In-depth experience in software license management – at least 4 years
2. Strong understanding of software licensing models, including perpetual, subscription, and volume licensing
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
4. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
5. Proficiency in software asset management tools
6. Familiarity with IT procurement processes and vendor management
