Job Description
We are looking for a generalist lawyer specialized in securities and corporate laws who will provide practical and comprehensive legal advice and research to support our Polish‑based Warsaw Stock Exchange listed company and all other People Can Fly group members in various jurisdictions (UK, Ireland, US, Canada). You will handle a range of legal and business matters related to the internal organization and daily functioning of the Group, with a focus on corporate governance and securities law compliance.
- Provide advice and legal drafting on company law matters for each Member of the Group (draft resolutions, meeting minutes, corporate records in different jurisdictions), using external advisers where necessary.
- Advise publicly listed companies on securities law, including ad‑hoc and inside reporting, disclosure/compliance for Annual, Semi‑Annual and Quarterly Reports, corporate governance and duties of managers, and WSE rules, using external advisers where necessary.
- Observe and comply with all MAR related obligations.
- Draft and review a range of legal documents (commercial terms and contracts, financing, insurance, business contracts with external suppliers and service providers, corporate documents, correspondence, internal policies, ongoing correspondence etc.).
- Analyze business and legal conditions and assess associated risks.
- Monitor changes in the law applicable to the Group’s activities and organization.
- Verify and ensure compliance of legal documentation with internal policies, procedures and legal requirements.
- Support other members of the Legal Team in their ongoing projects and tasks; cooperate with other teams to identify, analyze and deliver required legal support; participate in internal meetings and meetings with external contractors as needed.
- Cooperate with external legal advisors from both Polish and other jurisdictions on entrusted matters, as needed.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in law and attorney‑at‑law or advocate status.
- 6+ years of practice in general corporate, securities and business law, preferably as an in‑house counsel in a multi‑jurisdiction organisation or at an international law firm.
- Experience providing legal services related to corporate and securities laws, including prior advice on MAR obligations.
- Willingness to support the Group’s internal organization and daily functioning (financing, insurance, business contracts).
- Knowledge of data protection, consumer and digital services laws is an added advantage.
- Strong legal drafting skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a multicultural team.
- Excellent communication, team‑building, interpersonal, writing and analytical skills.
- Advanced English (written and spoken); everyday work in English is expected.
- Experience in the video game and technology industry, or being a gamer, is an advantage but not required.
