As GlobalLogic continues expanding its business presence in DACH countries, we are looking for an experienced legal counsel to join our Legal EMEA team.

The team provides legal support for our offices in 10 countries of the region: Croatia, Germany, Israel, Ireland, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Required LL.M. in Germany. Additional license to practice law or a law degree in another EU country, preferably Poland, Romania, Slovakia or Sweden is welcome.
  • Professional Experience: Required minimum 8 years of total professional legal experience, including law firm experience. Preferred experience as an in‑house lawyer within a multinational corporation, working for IT companies, or with a geographically dispersed team.
  • Legal Expertise: Strong expertise in employment law is a must. Legal generalist experience is welcome.
  • Languages: Full professional proficiency in German and English. The EMEA Legal Team operates almost exclusively in English. Fluency in other European languages (preferably Polish, Slovak, Croatian, Romanian, or Swedish) is a plus.
  • Location: Based in Germany or Poland.

Job Responsibilities

  • Providing timely and high‑quality legal support to other departments, reviewing complex legal queries, and offering clear, actionable legal recommendations.
  • Serving as the go‑to expert for employment law matters in the region, particularly for Germany and Switzerland.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable national and international laws and regulations; tracking changes in relevant legislation.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and developing internal policies, procedures, and other legal documents to support business operations and maintain compliance.
  • Cooperating with external legal counsels across the region.
  • Carrying out other tasks to support colleagues within the global legal team as required, fostering a collaborative worldwide legal function.
