How You’ll Make An Impact

• Be the trusted advisor, managing legal matters and risks in general commercial and contract law, including IP, product liability, procurement, corporate law, torts and claims, for Siemens Energy’s Grid Technologies Products Business.
• Proactively assist and contribute to mastering business challenges through entrepreneurial thinking, balancing governance and business needs.
• Maintain and further improve best‑in‑class legal processes, engaging cost‑consciously with outside counsel when needed.
• Advance process optimization and lean principles to gain efficiency.
• Foster an organizational culture of ownership, empowerment, transparency, speaking up and inclusion and diversity.
• Collaborate closely within the global Legal and Compliance community, develop and provide training and educate key stakeholders.

What You Bring

• You have gained several years of professional experience in the legal department of an internationally operating company or a law firm, hold a law degree, and possess experience in international projects/products business.
• Relevant professional experience with a proven track record of successfully managing legal risks in complex transactions.
• Deep knowledge of contract law and international contract practice, the ability to lead personal strategic contracts/negotiations with customers and suppliers, and experience in IPR and R&D related consulting.
• You are customer‑oriented, passionately enable pragmatic business transactions, and inspire change while handling multiple demands simultaneously.
• You enjoy working in a team and in an international environment, have good communication skills and intercultural sensitivity and competence.
• Excellent language skills in verbal and written English; German is beneficial, other languages are an asset.
