We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Legal Counsel to join our team and provide comprehensive legal support for our operations in Poland and the EU. This role involves active participation in business processes, risk management, corporate governance, and legal compliance, as well as the ability to represent the company externally.
German (DE): Full professional proficiency (C1 and above)
English (EN): Strong command (minimum B2), including legal terminology
Master’s degree in Law (or equivalent advanced legal education)
Experience and Legal Expertise
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Legal Counsel in a Polish company
Profound knowledge of:
Polish and EU law
Tax, labor, contract, and corporate law
Migration and data protection law (RODO/GDPR)
Experience in:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
Preparing legal documents (claims, complaints, legal opinions)
Representing the company in court, administrative bodies, and external legal affairs (is a plus)
Participating in international litigation/arbitration (is a plus)
Familiarity with public authorities and the ability to navigate legal institutions
Strong understanding of compliance and internal policy development

1. Business Legal Support
Draft, review, and align contracts (clients, suppliers, service providers, employment, lease, etc.)
Provide legal consultations on commercial, labor, tax, and regulatory matters
Develop internal policies, guidelines, and procedures
Participate in audits and certification processes
2. Corporate Governance
Handle registration, restructuring, and liquidation of legal entities
Ensure corporate compliance (shareholders’ meetings, board resolutions)
Maintain shareholder registry and corporate documentation
Represent the company in courts, administrative agencies, and during inspections
Defend company interests in legal disputes
4. Regulatory Compliance
Ensure company operations are aligned with Polish and EU regulations
Monitor legal changes and update internal processes accordingly
Identify legal risks and create protection mechanisms
Conduct due diligence of partners, contracts, and internal regulations
6. Labor Law Advisory
Consult on employment issues (hiring, dismissal, employee relations)
Draft employment contracts, internal labor policies, disciplinary actions
Handle registration and protection of IP rights (trademarks, patents, etc.)
8. External Relations
Prepare responses to state authorities, banks, and counterparties
Support during inspections and regulatory audits
9. Employee Training
Conduct legal workshops and training (e.g., data protection, anti-corruption)
