The position is based in our Lighting business group in Krakow, Poland .

The Role

The Legal Counsel is a middle-level counsel and reports directly and solely to the OPmobility Lighting & Modules Business Legal Manager in the Group Legal Operations Team of OPmobility. Under the supervision of the OPmobility Lighting & Modules Business Legal Manager, the Legal Counsel:

• Assist Sales, Purchasing, R&D/R&I, in the drafting, revising, and negotiating contracts with automotive customers mainly, suppliers (raw material, components, tooling, services, logistic, capex) and partners (consortium, partnership…)
• Contribute to the overview of any legal operational issues arising in all sites of the OPmobility business group concerned.
• Assist in a way that OPmobility operates within the law at all times.
• Facilitate business strategies development by providing options and clarity under the law.
• Limit legal and contractual risk exposure.

The Requirements

• Education Level: Master’s Degree in law (commercial, contract, international) from a reputed law university ideally completed by a LL.M or a business school diploma.
• Around 5 years of experience in a law firm or in the legal department of an international company of the industrial sector in legal operations matters.
• Experience abroad, particularly in Germany, is a real plus.
• Fluency in English, verbally and in writing.
• Mastering of German language is a real Plus; knowledge of French is best appreciated.
• Organized, team spirit, high integrity and ethical values, excellent communication skills.
• Acquisition of “Business” and strategic mindset and negotiator.
• Ability to work at a distance with its reporting line in full transparency and constant communication.
• Ability to interact with the other members of the Teams in a dynamic and cooperative way.
• Both autonomy and sense of accountability within the legal organization.
