What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a proactive, self‑driven mid‑level corporate & commercial lawyer to support our global operations. You’ll split time between cross‑border corporate and governance work, English‑law governed documents, commercial agreements with key tech platforms, and a smaller share of employment and regulatory support across key jurisdictions (UK/ES/PL/UA/US). You will work closely with local counsel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Projects & Transactions
  • Take ownership of defined workstreams within cross‑functional projects across Europe, Ukraine, the UK, the US, and other jurisdictions.
  • Own legal documentation in connection with the project mentioned.
  • Coordinate with external advisors and internal stakeholders on specific tasks.
• Corporate & Commercial Advisory
  • Provide practical, business‑oriented legal support on corporate and commercial questions for key jurisdictions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of English‑law‑governed commercial agreements.
  • Support corporate governance and entity maintenance for group companies.
• Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
  • Manage day‑to‑day legal tasks in your area.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to legal processes.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of templates, playbooks and checklists.
  • Help maintain clear records and documentation.
• Risk Management & Compliance (within scope)
  • Identify and flag legal and commercial risks in contracts and corporate actions.
  • Monitor relevant legal developments affecting our corporate and commercial operations.

Required Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with typically 4–6 years’ post‑qualification experience; a mix of law firm + in‑house experience is strongly preferred.
• Solid experience working on cross‑border corporate and commercial matters, particularly involving Europe, the UK, and the US.
• Hands‑on experience with English‑law‑governed contracts and corporate documents.
• Confident working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams without heavy supervision.
• Fluency in English at minimum C1 level; other languages (Ukrainian, Polish) are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to simplify complex legal concepts for non‑lawyers.
• High degree of business acumen and problem‑solving ability; comfortable balancing legal risk against business objectives.
• Advanced user of modern productivity and AI tools.
• Behavioural fit: attentive to detail, structured, low‑ego, team‑first mindset, openness to feedback.

Nice to Have

• In‑house experience in a tech product‑led company.
• Experience with shareholders’ agreements and other complex corporate documents under English law.
• Experience working with or reviewing contracts for major tech platforms (Google, TikTok, AWS).
• Experience working from or with Ukraine and/or Poland and familiarity with their business/legal environment.
• Experience supporting employment documentation in cooperation with local counsel.
