Overview

Legal Associate – Polish Speaking at Ryanair – Europe-s Favourite Airline. Ryanair is recruiting a Polish (& English) Speaking Legal Associate to join Europe-s Largest Airline Group. This is an exciting time to join Ryanair as the company expands its operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the processing of legal claims received from customers or their legal representatives.
  • Draft court and Alternative Dispute Resolution documents to protect Ryanair-s position and provide necessary documentation to support external and internal legal teams.
  • Provide regular support to the Customer Service Legal team on EU261 legislation, case law and other consumer law matters.
  • Keep records, databases and systems up to date; ensure timely payment of legal claims.
  • Provide ad hoc duties to support the team as required.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.

Role and Requirements

  • A degree in law.
  • Full professional proficiency in Polish and English (written and spoken); additional European languages are highly regarded.
  • Language proficiency in Polish and English.
  • Interest in litigation work and the airline industry.
  • Customer-oriented with the ability to deal with tight legal deadlines and high volumes.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and ability to be a team player.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; numerate and comfortable working with data.
  • Strong organisation and planning skills with the ability to manage a large volume of work.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel; experience handling EU261-related matters is an advantage.
  • Understanding of consumer protection legislation, particularly at European level.
  • Pro-active, can-do attitude and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Creative and proactive approach to problem-solving; exceptional drafting and legal writing skills.
