Reporting to the Global Web Manager, you will be part of a global marketing team and will play a crucial role in the successful execution of web projects and the overall digital strategy of our company. This role focuses on the technical and process-oriented aspects of web development management, ensuring that our web platforms are optimized, secure, and efficient. It requires a deep understanding of web technologies and a proactive approach to process improvement and platform enhancement.

You must balance technical expertise with project management skills to deliver high-quality web solutions that meet our business objectives and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications. This role requires close collaboration with many stakeholders, from regional to global marketing and communications teams.

Your Role:

• Technical oversight by providing technical guidance in web development and support to Aptiv web team;
• Partnering with development teams from web agency to ensure timely and accurate updates, monitor deployments and providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices in web development;
• Responsible for activities related to Aptiv website content development and management including content entry through the CMS, fixing bugs as needed;
• Planning and documenting comprehensive technical specifications for features or platform updates, supporting to ensure a clear roadmap for development and implementation;
• Mentoring and guiding junior team members (web specialists), fostering their professional growth, and encouraging the adoption of industry best practices specifically supporting eCatalog platform and translated versions of the website;
• Ensure platforms are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance across various devices and browsers;
• Evaluate and support to implement new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve website performance;
• Support quality assurance and compliance efforts (cooperate with security teams to conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments, and implement necessary security measures)

Your Background:

• 6-8 years of relevant professional work experience required with a proven track record of leading development projects
• Expertise in front-end development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as back-end development using technologies like ASP.NET oraz C#  (recommended)
• Experience with popular frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, Bootstrap
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity of content management systems, Sitefinity preferred or working knowledge of similar platforms
• Expertise with website standard methodologies, including information architecture/navigation, responsive web design, content formatting, cross-linking, metadata, and tagging
• Understanding of design and UX/UI methodologies
• Familiarity of Adobe package (Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver)
• Fluent in English

Nice to have:

• Prior work experience with heavy digital focus is preferred
• Experience with Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager and Piwik
• Experience with integrating 3rd party APIs via web
