Lead WAM Business Analyst with German



Location: Warsaw

Hybrid model: 2 days office/3 days remote

The opportunity



As a Lead WAM Business Analyst, you will work as a team lead in one of the projects for International Customers. You will be responsible for managing and delivering innovative solutions to clients from the Wealth & Asset Management sector, focusing on the German market.



Your key responsibilities

1. Liaise and manage key stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successfully delivered solutions
2. Interface with customer representatives as needed
3. Organize and conduct workshops with customers, collecting business requirements
4. Regular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinators
5. Support for testing of created applications/systems
6. Build a quality work culture
7. Foster teamwork and lead by example
8. Participate in organization-wide people initiatives
9. Travel to customer locations on a need basis

Skills and attributes for success

1. Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
2. Experience in financial markets, involved players, and financial instruments use, structure, payment function, valuation, etc.
3. Hands-on experience with financial systems of Wealth & Asset Management: BlackRock Aladdin, SimCorp, Bloomberg, MultiFonds, eFront, Investran
4. Ability to gather business requirements (product settings, workflows, accounting rules, etc.) from customers and translate these into personalized configuration and setup
5. Very good knowledge of English & German language

To qualify for the role, you must have

1. Front-to-back process experience within Asset/Wealth Managers: Portfolio Management, MO (Risk, Settlements), BO (Funds Admin, Reporting) and Process project topics: gap & process analysis, process optimization, business reengineering, STP (straight-through-processing), outsourcing
2. Good experience in design, development, and testing of systems/interfaces (mappings) between external providers and financial systems (e.g. Market data, exchanges) as well as from trading systems to legacy systems (e.g. accounting)
3. Translating business requirements to appropriate package capabilities
4. Review client processes and workflows and make recommendations to maximize benefits from the package

Ideally, youll also have

1. Technical experience of working on data, understanding relational data models, SQL queries
2. Experience in any or more of Oracle, MS SQL, DB2 databases
3. Advanced Excel and VBA skills
4. Strong presentation skills
