Position Purpose

We are seeking a Lead UX Engineer to build and maintain reusable React components for our design system. This role involves close collaboration with designers and engineers, a deep understanding of design tokens, CI/CD practices, and a service-oriented mindset to ensure scalable, future-proof solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain React components with a focus on performance, accessibility, and scalability.
2. Implement and manage design tokens to maintain consistent theming and styling across platforms.
3. Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment.
4. Collaborate closely with product designers to ensure smooth design-to-code integration.
5. Ensure component quality through unit, integration, and visual regression testing using Jest.
6. Document components and systems thoroughly to support team collaboration and system scalability.
7. Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote best practices.
8. Act with a service-oriented mindset, responding to internal feedback and adapting solutions as needed.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of front-end development experience with a focus on React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
2. Strong understanding of design tokens, CSS-in-JS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind), and component-based architecture.
3. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
4. Proficiency in Jest for automated testing.
5. Strong documentation skills to support knowledge sharing and collaboration.
6. Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills, with experience mentoring developers.
7. Bonus: Experience with React Native for cross-platform development.
