Lead Systems Engineer / Technical Architect – Services & Connectivity



Your responsibilities

  • Bring a Systems Perspective: Understand the customer usage and importance of various services to drive functional and non-functional requirements to the development team, maintain the team’s perspective throughout development and entry into service
  • Guide Refactoring of legacy applications and New Application Development, assist the team in re-architecting legacy monolithic applications into scalable microservice design
  • Implement Data Management and Access controls: Architect and deliver secure data management solutions, ensure compliance with stringent data access and security requirements under a zero-trust architecture.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure adherence to zero-trust security principles, driving robust authentication and authorization
  • Collaboration and Agile Practices: Lead cross-functional teams to align on project goals.
  • Follow Agile methodologies, participating in sprints and iterative development cycles.
  • Effective Communication: Ensure clear flow of information to the program as well as to development teams

Our requirements

  • University education with major in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field.
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with Systems Design & Architecture, experience with some of the following technologies: Java Spring Boot, NestJS, C#.NET, PHP, Python, SQL, ReactJS & TypeScript
  • Experience with database management systems, data platforms (e.g. Streaming Data Platform, Kafka, Logstash, Teradata, Hadoop, etc.), and data formats (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, AWS S3, JSON, Redis, neo4j, etc.) for efficient ML feature extraction and data transformations will be valuable
  • Ability to work collaboratively with development/implementation staff through the design and build of new business processes and systems. Experience leading remote and global teams.
