We Are Seeking:
A seasoned Senior IT System Engineer with a proven track record and the ability to maintain and enhance our internal IT infrastructure, encompassing hardware, network, and account management. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless operation and security of our systems.
responsibilities :
Systems Access Management: Overseeing cloud accounts, administrating access groups, and managing software licenses.
Hardware Oversight: Implementing device policy, coordinating inventory with regional managers, and establishing device provisioning policies.
Network Administration: Configuring networking hardware, monitoring network activities, and maintaining Ubiquity devices with the latest patches and updates.
Incident Response: Providing swift reaction to incidents within our IT perimeter, isolating and resolving issues in compliance with our SLA.
Service Desk Leadership: Responding to company-wide hardware/software inquiries and managing internal requests.
Financial Stewardship: Projecting budget requirements for IT licenses, and continually evaluating non-utilized capacities to optimize resource allocation.
Security Training Collaboration: Partnering with the CISO to conduct company-wide security procedure trainings, enhancing internal security awareness.
Team Management: Mentoring and leading a dedicated IT support team capable of providing exceptional service on a global scale.
requirements-expected :
At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
Expertise in network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, HTTP, SSL/TLS.
Experience with setting up and securing wireless networks, particularly with Ubiquity hardware.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems: Bash, SSH.
Familiarity with Apple ecosystems: MacOS, Apple Device Management, iCloud.
Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, and Azure, with the ability to manage access.
Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic, Zabbix, or Splunk.
