PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead software design, development, and refactoring across multiple scrum teams in an agile delivery environment.
2. Ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements.
3. You will be expected to develop the most important and challenging parts of the system yourself and contribute to the Team as a developer.
4. Define solution roadmap and take accountability for the key system design decisions.
5. Complete the deliverables with high quality and within the set timeframe.
6. Drive continuous improvements with focus on quality, usability, and maintainability.
7. Establish a trusted partnership with our internal business and technical counterparts.
8. Foster the DevOps mindset of acting as one team from delivery to operation.
9. Become proficient with business processes implemented in the solution and look for opportunities to simplify.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Must Have:

1. Academic degree in Information Technology or Software Engineering or equivalent.
2. Proficient in writing cloud-based software using Java stack.
3. Experience with cloud and microservices architectures.
4. Experience with relational and NoSQL database engines.
5. Proficient in development tools and practices such as Git workflows, Git Actions, Test Automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
6. Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in the English language.
7. Familiarity with agile project delivery (Scrum, Kanban).
8. Ability to work in an international, virtual team, and hybrid office/remote working environment.
9. Ability to guide and support other team members, providing technical guidance and assistance.

Nice to Have:

1. Proficiency with Node.js, Spring Boot 3, Java 17.
2. Experience with FIORI/UI5 and common UI frameworks like React, Vue.js, Angular.
3. Experience with SAP BTP, SAP CRM / ERP, and ABAP, SAP HANA, SAP OData.
4. Experience with performance profiling and tuning using Dynatrace or similar tools.
5. Experience with AI development tools like GitHub CoPilot.
6. Experience with API Management.
7. Experience with database administration.
8. Experience with SAFe.

WORK EXPERIENCE

We are looking for at least 10+ years of professional work experience in software development with at least 2 years as a lead developer or solution architect.

We work 3 days a week in the office.
