For Wholesale IT Global Payments Solutions – Global Disbursements we are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to be responsible for leading a team that will provide solutions for business and technical features design and implementation. They will facilitate requirements analyses, implementations, conduct peer reviews, provide feedback, enhance frameworks as well as acting as a strong individual contributor in their area of remit.
What we require is an individual with strong knowledge of best practices, good organizational skills, and strong proficiency in Java technologies.
responsibilities :
Technical leadership, mentoring and ownership of delivery – leading a team of about 5 members
Building and supporting services, microservices and applications (back-end & front-end) in variety of versions of Java (8/11/17/21)
Transform existing solutions to more modern, microservices and HTTP based architecture and increasing performance, monitoring and alerting capabilities of services
Development, maintenance, and support (DevOps) of services (Java and Node.js)
Development, maintenance, and support of service-related interfaces (its orchestration layer) using set of APIs or microservices patterns as for the solution
Using Git, GitHub, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins etc. for software development and release process
Following Agile & DevOps working methodology and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Working with Business Analysts, Project/Product Managers to understand business requirements and how they translate into development and providing a communication on behalf of Global Disbursements Team
requirements-expected :
Senior experience in Java 8 and 17+ and Spring/SpringBoot
Good experience in databases: Oracle and/or Postgres is essential
Experience building RESTful APIs
Experience in development of microservices and the associated patterns
Understanding of DevOps principles
Experience in React, IBM technologies (MQ, Oracle, Websphere, zSeries) and knowledge of cyber security is nice to have
Experience in JavaScript on a basic level
