Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, development, execution, and continuous improvement of automated tests aligned with established strategies for web‑based medical software
- Shape and maintain a robust automated testing framework, ensuring reliability and long‑term scalability
- Manage the entire test automation codebase, including branching approaches, code reviews, and compliance with high engineering standards
- Ensure that all testing activities uphold the safety and quality expectations required for medical‑grade products
- Support the creation and ongoing refinement of test documentation and specifications
- Collaborate closely with internal and external teams (QA, analytics, and engineering) to define acceptance criteria, align on test strategies, and resolve technical challenges
- Maintain and enhance automated pipelines in Azure DevOps to ensure efficient and stable execution of tests
- Collect, analyse, and report quality‑related metrics from automated tests and development workflows
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance
- Proficiency in C# and ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot automated tests for APIs and web applications
- Familiarity with C# testing frameworks
- Understanding of coding best practices and software design patterns, with a strong focus on clean, maintainable code
- Experience creating and running automated functional tests
- Good practical knowledge of Git
- Basic command‑line skills in Linux (file management, networking utilities, process inspection, log review)
- Ability to work with Docker and introductory knowledge of Kubernetes, including basic kubectl usage
- Effective communication in English, both spoken and written
- Efficient use of testing and project‑tracking tools such as JIRA
- Willingness to collaborate and coordinate regularly with external QA and analytics teams
- Experience working with CI/CD tooling
