We looking for a Lead Python Engineer with strong REST API and AWS experience to work in a Data and Distribution team. Our client is a global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
Our new Engineer should be open to working from our clients Tri-City office one day per week or visiting the office once a month for a few days.
responsibilities :
Analyzing, designing, coding, and building - crafting front-end and backend components to fit the business requirements.
Leading the development team with the Team Lead.
Developing scalable, reusable software components in line with architectural standards.
Implementing automated test–unit and integration tests for continuous integration and maintenance.
Solving problems and application support issues.
Working closely with Product Management and key stakeholders to prioritize multiple requirements at a time.
Be responsible for technical analysis and producing documentation.
requirements-expected :
7+ years of software development experience.
Willingness to work from the office (one day per week or once a month for a few days).
Team leading practice.
Expertise in Python (Ideally on Linux/AWS Lambda Containers).
Solid knowledge of REST APIs.
Good database and SQL experience (Ideally some Lakehouse exposure).
Practice with AWS Components (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, SNS, SQS).
