Job Description:

We are looking for you, if you:

• have 5+ years of experience in Python, with proven track record about knowledge and awareness about Python mechanisms, knowledge of Python Libraries, scripting & development,
• have experience with leading Python related projects/builds: have sense of project leadership, can orchestrate work of other developers,
• have experience in writing unit and integration tests (test-driven development preferred)
• have experience with REST APIs, ability to create clients and servers
• have knowledge about programming techniques (understanding patterns, refactor techniques, testing and programming paradigms)
• have experience with independent design and implementing of CI/CD tools (Preferred Azure DevOps).
• are able to provide complex analysis for creating development goals: technologies recognition, risk analysis,
• are enthusiastic and able to freely communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
• knowledge about Model C4 in Software Architecture,
• experience in leadership,
• interest in Disaster Recovery,
• object-Oriented Programming language like C#,
• basic knowledge about JavaScript,
• knowledge about FastAPI,
• design, develop and implement automated tests using Python,
• platform engineering and full stack experience (DevOps),
• good understanding of the Linux operating system and container technologies.

Your responsibilities:

• application Development,
• design, analysing and designing new features together with the team,
• application monitoring, supporting, contribution on refinements,
• meetings (Scrum events), daily operation and applications monitoring.

Information about the squad:

Our team is focused on application suite development for Disaster Recovery automation. Delivering our product for one of the biggest markets at ING Group, with the goal to become a global solution. Our product in Python is based and hosted on ING Private Cloud, working with Agile/Scrum methodology. We are looking for a Python Developer (senior level), technically passionate, solution-focused and able to contribute to design and development of a system. You will be responsible for implementing new solutions within our product that enable our application to become more scalable. The team is located in Katowice, Poland, and we prefer a hybrid work mode.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer IV”.
