We are looking for a Lead Piping Engineer responsible for providing quality pipeline design services and managing a team of engineers.

Your area of responsibility:

• Assuring that L&P team is following all agreed and required procedures, standards and quality practices
• Analyzing planting documentation and requirements together with internal stakeholders
• Task management and task distribution in relation to work package that is delivered
• Creation of pipework concepts and detailed plans from a technological, economic and installation point of view, from concept development to installation
• Creation and review of technical documents such as isometric drawings, installation plans, special supports and support systems
• On-site survey and creation of manual isometric drawings
• Conceptual layout planning
• Creation of production and detailed drawings
• Isometric visualization of piping systems including the necessary special support structures
• Quality assurance for delivery process in compliance to clients requirements and standards
• Carrying out simplified analyses of stresses in pipelines in accordance with EN 13480-3, Annex Q
• Preparation of technical documents and documentation

What you bring to the table:

• A degree in construction technology, mechanical engineering, process engineering or similar
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in plant and pipeline planning
• Hands-on experience in piping and instrumentation projects delivery
• Ability to play a lead engineer role and project management tasks
• Proficient user of the CAD systems: AutoCAD Plant 3D, SmartPlant 3D, E3D, or PDS 3D
• Experience with the relevant regulations, in particular DIN EN 13480 and PED, preferably also AD2000 or EN 13445
• Good written and spoken English, German is a plus but not a requirement
