Performance Test Lead - Remote

Whats the job

1. Analyse the service/application/hardware under test, the performance testing requirements and the project acceptance criteria.
2. Design test scenario(s) and produce project test plans.
3. Direct partner resources in executing approved test plans.
4. Build and test performance scenario(s).
5. Execute the tests, collate results from the performance test tool and produce analysis reports.
6. Contribute to performance bottleneck identification and resolution.
7. Responsible for adhering to all internal policy and procedures in relation to security and quality best practice.
8. Conduct Proof Of Concepts for new Performance Testing requirements where necessary.
9. Attend project/team workshops and formulate performance testing requirements.
10. Take responsibility and accountability for multiple on-going projects from initial startup/design to close where performance testing is required.
11. Hold internal performance testing meetings ensuring project success including internal and external team members.

What youll bring

1. Have a strong understanding of performance test principles.
2. Have a deep understanding of the performance test project lifecycle and deliverables.
3. Considerable proven track record in performance testing.
4. Knowledge of multiple performance testing tools (such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gattling etc.) along with extensive experience using the LoadRunner family of tools.
5. Integrating Performance Tools into a CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Gitlab).
6. Technical Experience using APM tools (Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana).
7. Technical Experience performance testing deployments/instances on AWS, Azure, GCP & Kubernetes.
8. Key testing experience with SAP, PIM, Middleware (IIB), Kafka, microservice architecture (Rest & SOAP orientated), e-commerce platforms and Oracle ATG.
9. Understanding of data requirements and methods of generating that data.
10. Experience of testing multiple e-commerce platforms and environments in the retail industry.
11. Retail industry testing experience, including Digital, In-store and Supply Chain.
12. Understanding of the challenges of performance testing internal, SaaS and hybrid application landscapes.
13. Experience of working directly with internal clients/teams.
14. Experience of interfacing with, and directing, partner teams and resources.
15. Ability to context switch between different deliverables efficiently and quickly.
