Salary: £70,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We are looking for candidates who have:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development.
  • At least 3 years of experience in DevOps practices.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in Agile environments.
  • Eligibility for UK Security Clearance.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience.
  • Confidence in developing full-stack solutions as a polyglot developer/engineer.
  • Familiarity with contemporary software engineering practices, including the selection and application of appropriate technology and patterns.
Responsibilities:
  • As a Lead Java Developer at our organization, you will engage in diverse responsibilities, including:
  • Implementing software solutions through design, development, and testing.
  • Utilizing a broad spectrum of technologies, with a focus on open-source libraries and components.
  • Utilizing tools like GitLab to construct continuous integration pipelines that promote software quality and security.
  • Deploying software systems across a mix of environments, including public (AWS and Azure) and private cloud.
  • Being involved in the full software lifecycle, which includes:
  • - Project concept formalization
  • - Requirement analysis and specification
  • - Software architecture design
  • - Software implementation and delivery
  • - Software training and support
  • - Software lifecycle and maintenance
