Lead Instrumentation Engineer - Krakow, Poland
Were currently looking for a candidate for our client, a global leader in gases and engineering solutions. Hybrid work model: 3 days in the office.
We are seeking a highly qualified professional to lead instrumentation engineering initiatives across multiple projects.
You Will Be Successful In This Role If
- You hold a Master’s degree in Automation or a related technical field.
- You have prior experience as an Instrumentation Engineer in a plant engineering company.
- You are proficient in AutoCAD and Smart Plant 3D.
- You can work independently on domestic and international projects.
- You are skilled in MS Office applications.
- You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You are willing to travel occasionally for short‑term assignments.
- You are eager to work in a multicultural team.
Tasks Waiting For You
- Lead a team of in‑house and third‑party instrumentation engineers, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Develop project‑specific basis of design in line with specifications and contract requirements.
- Analyze and evaluate technical contract annexes.
- Plan, manage, monitor, review, and approve the discipline’s work while meeting quality, schedule, budget, and contract requirements.
- Prepare full instrumentation documentation, including Instrument Lists, Data Sheets, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, cable lists, layout inputs, hook‑ups, and material take‑off.
- Prepare RFQs/TRS and perform technical bid evaluations.
- Coordinate package units and interfaces with other disciplines, clients, and vendors.
- Participate in inspections of instruments and valves, and verify project documentation for completeness and compliance with standards.
