Overview
Are you an experienced HR professional with deep expertise in HR administration and payroll? Join us at the heart of VELUX Production as a Lead HR Supporter — a key role ensuring the smooth coordination of HR support processes, compliance with Polish labor law, and participation in both local and global HR initiatives. This is a senior specialist role with process leadership responsibilities, ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating teams and improving processes, even without formal people management duties.
Your Responsibilities
HR and Payroll Administration
- Manage complete employee documentation in line with Polish labor law.
- Handle employment lifecycle processes: hiring, changes, extensions, and terminations (including preparation of documents like contracts, anneces etc).
- Maintain employee data in TETA and Workday systems.
- Cooperate with external payroll providers and verify payroll accuracy.
Payroll Operations & Compliance
- Prepare payments to US, ZUS, and PFRON for the VELUX Group.
- Post payroll and PFRON transactions.
- Liaise with public institutions (US, ZUS) and prepare corrections and reports.
HR Systems & Process Development
- Act as a Super User for HR systems (TETA, Płatnik).
- Test, implement, and enhance HR system functionalities.
- Collaborate with central IT/HR teams to drive process improvements.
Legal & Audit Support
- Advise the business on Polish labor law, working time and remuneration.
- Prepare materials for internal and external audits (ESG, EY, PIP, ZUS).
- Represent HR during inspections and collaborate on global mobility cases.
HR Support & Projects
- Support HR initiatives and Employee Life Cycle processes.
- Partner with HR Business Partners on engagement, culture, and employee relations.
- Identify process optimization opportunities and support business reporting.
Your Profile
- University degree in Law, Economics, HR, Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR and payroll, including 2+ years in a coordinating role.
- Strong knowledge of the Polish Labor Code, working time systems, and payroll regulations.
- Experience with various employment contracts and payroll types.
- Proficiency in TETA, Workday, Płatnik, and ZUS PUE.
- Very good English (min. B2).
- Experience in an international or production environment is a plus.
- Extensive project management and process improvement skills.
- Ability to participate in business trips (up to 15 days per annum).
