The IT company Andersen invites an experienced person to fill the position of Lead Go Developer to work on a large-scale project for a USA customer.
The customer is an international passenger and cargo transportation service. It is among the top 3 mobile services for ordering rides in the world: 150 million installations, 1 billion trips, 600+ cities in 45 countries.
The project involves the launch of the clients product into the Egyptian market, with a meticulous engagement of carriers, special attention to integration with local providers, and consideration of existing conditions imposed by Egyptian legislation.
Responsibilities
- Developing and improving the functionality of back-end services.
- Conducting code reviews, writing integration and unit tests.
- Optimizing data warehouses and reporting processes for large volumes.
- Modifying the use of queues.
- Developing tools to save costs on external APIs.
- Developing solutions specific to application use case countries.
- Participating in system design and architectural decisions with the team.
Requirements
- Experience as a Golang Developer for 5+ years.
- Knowledge of System Design, hands-on experience with Amazon services (AWS).
- Experience working with high-load systems.
- Experience with MySQL, Redis.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (ELK).
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Experience in designing and implementing APIs (Rest, GRPC).
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Knowledge of build and deployment automation tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Kafka, Nuts standards protocol.
- Interest in new technologies and tools for automating development processes.
- Responsibility, the desire to work in a team and develop.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
