About the project
We are seeking a skilled Lead Fullstack Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-scale applications using Node.js and Angular, while ensuring optimal performance and delivering innovative solutions. This position requires strong leadership skills to guide a team of developers and maintain high-quality standards.
Please note that this role requires working from the EPAM office in Krakow or Gdansk for three days a week.
Your responsibilities
- Build, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js for backend and Angular for frontend
- Establish coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for the development team
- Ensure seamless integration of APIs, databases, and third-party services to deliver efficient applications
- Lead and mentor a team of fullstack developers, ensuring code quality and adherence to project timelines
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain consistency and quality across the codebase
- Monitor and optimize application performance to enhance scalability, security, and speed
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the entire technology stack to ensure system stability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with organizational goals
Our requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership or team management role
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js for backend development
- Professional expertise in Angular for building frontend interfaces
- Commercial experience with AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Firehose, DynamoDB, EKS, and CloudWatch
- Proficiency in working with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL databases
- Ability to analyze legacy applications and define target-state architecture and design
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and processes
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) at a B2 level or higher
