Obowiązki

• lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of enterprise-scale data migration initiatives across complex systems,
• design and execute migration strategies that prioritize data integrity, security, and minimal operational disruption,
• work closely with stakeholders such as business analysts, data architects, and IT teams to define migration requirements and system specifications,
• build and enhance ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Informatica or custom-developed scripts,
• perform detailed data mapping and transformation between legacy and modern systems,
• ensure data quality through comprehensive validation, reconciliation processes, and robust error-handling routines,
• supervise and mentor a team of migration developers, offering technical leadership and conducting code reviews,
• document all aspects of the migration process including data flows, transformation logic, and technical specs,
• track and assess migration progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues and performance constraints,
• uphold compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements throughout migration activities,
• collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support environment configuration, backup strategies, and automated deployments,
• continuously refine migration frameworks and tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and reusability.

Wymagania

• expertise in ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Microsoft SSIS, or custom Python/Scala scripts,
• strong SQL skills for extracting, transforming, and validating data across diverse database environments,
• hands-on experience with data migration frameworks and methodologies in large-scale enterprise contexts,
• proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation and data transformation,
• familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra,
• understanding of cloud data platforms and associated services,
• ability to design and interpret data models and schema structures for both source and target systems,
• experience using data quality tools and practices for profiling, cleansing, and validation,
• proficiency with version control and collaboration platforms such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket,
• knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks including GDPR and HIPAA,
• familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including CI/CD integration for data pipelines,
• Nice to Have :
• strong communication and leadership capabilities,
• exposure to cloud-native data migration strategies,
• certifications in data management or project management disciplines,
• experience working with a variety of data migration tools and technologies,
• understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and their data structures.
