Following extensive investment across our Technology and Digital domains and with plans for continued expansion throughout 2025-26 and beyond, we are currently seeking a “ Lead Engineer - Network Security ” to join HSBC Cybersecurity in Poland.
responsibilities :
Design and provision network security policies with required zero trust principles.
Design, Implement and maintain Network security technologies (Network / Service Segmentation) for on-premises, container and cloud environment.
Document High-level and Low-level network designs and procedures
Run product evaluation and proof of concepts on emerging network technologies.
requirements-expected :
7-9 years of relevant experience in design and implementation of Network segmentation strategies for on-premises, cloud and/or container environment using leading firewall technologies such as checkpoint, ASA or Host-based firewalls (Illumio & Guardicore) in large and complex environment.
Must have experience with Linux platform administration and Python scripting.
Previous strong exposure to security frameworks, and technologies such as IDS/IPS, web application security, vulnerability scanners, network security, cybersecurity, and anti-malware systems.
Experience with modern agile software delivery practices such as scrum, version control, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
