Lead Engineer – Integrated Manufacturing Engineering - Small Commercial Rotating Parts & Cold Airfoils

This Lead Engineer is an individual contributor on the Integrated Manufacturing Engineering team, owning all engineering functions related to the Rotating Parts commodity for GE shops for Small Commercial engines (LEAP, P20). The role focuses on improving producibility, enhancing the Engineering–Supply chain relationship, and using SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) to dramatically improve product health and enable customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include design, development, and technical improvement of products and systems, with planning and execution autonomy within standard practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the technical discipline, using prior experience and acquired expertise to execute strategy.
  • Understand key business drivers and how the team’s work integrates with other areas.
  • Use judgment to propose solutions outside set parameters with guidance, and solve straightforward tasks using technical and analytic skills.
  • Provide informal guidance to new team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Component.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Good level of English.
