Lead Electrical Engineer (MCF/ Data Centres) role at Haskoning. What you do as a Electrical Lead Engineer (MCF/ Data Centres)
You will work within a multidisciplinary team where your work will be cross borders, native and home based. In addition to participating in projects, you naturally also contribute to the optimization of our internal business processes and to safeguarding and sharing knowledge within your field.
- Manage and deliver the electrical all work packages in multiple projects;
- Identify the scope, design and management objectives and deliver project documentation;
- Design and work on power supplies LV, MV and HV distribution, storage, redundancy and uninterruptible power supplies thereby apply;
- Ensure maximum security of a data centre by working on the most effective and inventive installations related to fire protection, intrusion protection and access control;
- Ensure the quality and flow of information required for contractors, vendors and regulatory authorities;
- Write technical specifications and reports;
- Assist the project manager in the preparation / review of project costs, risk assessments;
- Risk management, execute assessments, Testing and Commissioning protocols;
- Review contractor pre-qualifications and prepared tender evaluation summaries for tender reviews;
- Evaluate proposals and recommendations to the client regarding vendor selection;
- Write technical specifications for tenders;
- Represent RHDHV on factory acceptance tests and site testing & commissioning activities;
- Communicate status of projects to internal directors and external stakeholders (clients) on an ad-hoc and formal basis;
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships ensuring continuous technical professional development.

What you bring
You are an entrepreneurial, results-oriented, proactive individual with a positive, flexible and problem-solving attitude. You should have:
- A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering;
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in electrical design and/or installation;
- Good knowledge of standard practices in the design and construction industry;
- License to design (electrical specialization);
- Experience in performing complex engineering and calculations (short circuit study, discrimination study, LPS risk assessment);
- Fluency in English and Polish;
- Understanding of the daily operational business of construction industry clients;
- Entrepreneurial and result oriented;
- Proactive and flexible attitude;

Location
You will be based in Warszawa. Travel flexibility is expected as clients are located nationally and internationally.
