Position Level: Senior

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant university degree and several years of experience as a practitioner and expert in the .NET domain
• Demonstrated leadership qualities to coach people or a few years as leading people, preferably in the .NET domain
• Good knowledge in Unit/integration testing and/or TDD
• Good knowledge of how to work with S.O.L.I.D principles
• Understanding/experience with DevOps concepts (i.e., automation, CI/CD, etc.) is a plus
• Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
• Experience with agile methodologies is a plus, a willingness to adopt them is required
• Energy in working in a changing environment, executing the Volvo Group transformation agenda
• As domain expert: You are technically skilled and legitimate in your chapter area of expertise. You are passionate about .NET and share your knowledge within the Group, actively staying updated on innovations and trends . You are a skilled network builder (internally/externally), and cross-functional collaboration is crucial and natural for you. Your expertise allows you to work side-by-side with other Software Engineers .
• As line manager: You are passionate about creating the right environment for chapter members to develop competencies and skills . You are eager to coach people and develop the chapter expertise level , fostering an outside-in view and leveraging the network across the group (upskilling and recruitment). You are responsible for the growth and uplift of your team ; your success is intricately linked to your chapter members’ well-being and progress . You are committed to following a clear purpose aligned with the company strategy. You act as a role model , leading your group by example, towards the new ways of working .
