As a Lead Data Modeller, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data models that will support organization’s data architecture and analytics initiatives. You will lead a team of Data modellers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, availability, and consistency, enabling informed decision-making across the organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping and implementing data architecture strategies, ensuring data quality, integrity, security, and optimal performance.
responsibilities :
Lead the design and development of conceptual, logical and physical data models to support business requirements, operational and analytical needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data modelling solutions that meet business needs.
Establish and maintain data standards, best practices, and governance policies for data modelling.
Mentor and train team members on data modelling techniques, best practises, tools, and methodologies.
Work closely with data architects, data engineers, and analysts to create a cohesive data strategy.
Participate in design and architecture discussions to ensure alignment with data modelling efforts.
Stay up to date with emerging data technologies, trends, and industry developments. Evaluate and recommend new tools and methodologies to enhance data capabilities.
