The Lead Business Architecture is a key position in the Global Business Architecture team reporting to the Principal Business Architect - Taxonomy. The role will focus on supporting the Principal Business Architect - Taxonomy in the build out and management of the Capability Model and Strategy.
The Lead Business Architect will be responsible for driving and building our Business Architecture practice by providing leadership, direction and guidance to the Business Architecture community and other areas of the business to ensure alignment to the Business Architecture Framework.
responsibilities :
Be the expert in Enterprise Business Capability, Business Architecture, Process Excellence disciplines.
Independently and in partnership with subject matter experts of Business Capabilities define and align business capability roadmap(s) across multiple lines of business.
Build, manage and enhance the Bank-wide Capability Model (HCM) along an enterprise mindset to drive maturity, optimisation, and simplification of the HSBC Business Model.
Expand and promote the BBC as the common language of “what" HSBC does to create desired business outcomes and experiences.
Collaborate with Business capability owners and key stakeholders (Business Process owners, Data Owners, and Technology leads) on leveraging the HSBC Capability model to deliver value in the form of strategic realisation & prioritisation, transformation and solutioning.
Influence and collaborate with data and technology architecture teams to incorporate business architecture principles and design patterns to increase consistency and operability across the Group.
Determine and deliver strategic roadmaps to build and extend business capabilities.
Drive the adoption of Business Architecture tools for connecting, discovering, and visualising the enabling components that work together to enable business capabilities.
requirements-expected :
Proven experience (5-7) years in business architecture, business process management or related field, preferably in the financial services industry. 3+ years’ experience working with business architecture related tools.
Solid understanding of business architecture concepts and best practices with the ability to be an advocate for leveraging enterprise business capability framework to deliver business value.
Knowledge of Architecture / Business Design and analysis modeling techniques, tools, and standard development.
Ability to make strategic recommendations to leadership and GB/GF Business Architecture teams.
Understanding of the creation and maintenance of business process models aligned with Group Business Architecture standards.
Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate, or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business.
The ability to visualise and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture.
Experience modelling business capabilities and processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
