Lead Architectural Engineer - Data Centres - Warsaw, Poland - 12-Month Contract

We are currently partnering with a leading multinational design and engineering consultancy, and they are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join their team. Our client works across a variety of sectors including industrial, consumer goods, data centres and energy to name a few.

Their team is composed of experts in diverse fields such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, civil engineering, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology.

Responsibilities:

1. Managing and delivering architectural work packages in multiple projects, from early test fits, to building permits to execution;
2. Identifying the scope, design, and management objectives and delivering project documentation;
3. Ensuring the quality and flow of information required for contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities;
4. Writing technical specifications and reports;
5. Assisting the project manager in the preparation/review of project costs and risk assessments;
6. Review contractor pre-qualifications and prepared tender evaluation summaries for tender reviews;
7. Evaluate proposals and recommendations to the client regarding vendor selection, write technical specifications for tenders;
8. Communicate the status of projects to internal directors and external stakeholders (clients) on an ad-hoc and formal basis;
9. Developing and maintaining vendor relationships ensuring continuous technical professional development.

Requirements:

1. A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Architectural Engineering;
2. At least 5-10 years of relevant working experience in architectural design;
3. Good knowledge of standard practices in the design and construction industry;
4. License to design (architectural specialisation);
5. Fluency in English and Polish;
6. A good understanding of the daily operational business of construction industry clients;
7. An entrepreneurial and result oriented;
8. Proactive and flexible attitude;
9. Positive and problem-solving attitude.
