PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

As the digital backbone of SAP, the Corporate Processes & Information Technology organization is the cornerstone of SAPs strategic execution. Our mission is to drive operational efficiency and innovation by leveraging advanced Business AI solutions.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

We are seeking a candidate with:

• A bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related fields.
• Proficiency in English, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
• At least 10 years of ABAP development experience (especially ABAP OO), with knowledge of SAP solutions like BRIM or FI, SD modules, CRM, and S/4HANA.
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies.
• Understanding of SAP Business Master Data models, process and data modeling, and modern architecture paradigms.
• Knowledge of design patterns, Clean Code, CI/CD, Code review, TDD, integration patterns, API management, security concepts, and software quality assurance and testing methods.
• Familiarity with ABAP Cloud, RAP, steampunk platform, and Subscription Management processes is advantageous.
• Experience in leading projects and troubleshooting complex software issues.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes and work in an agile environment, utilizing methodologies like SCRUM, SAFe, and KANBAN.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, high-performance products on schedule.
• Independent and team-oriented work ethic, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Quick learning aptitude for new knowledge areas.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Solid professional background in software development (ABAP/ABAP OO).
• Prior experience with SCRUM and Agile methodologies is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software solutions within tight deadlines.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams and facilitating effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A track record of continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Experience in mentoring junior developers and leading by example to foster a culture of technical excellence.
