Responsibilities
- Monitoring, analysing and interpreting Polish and European legal regulations and supervisory guidelines (including MiFID II, the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments, and delegated regulations) related to the activities of investment firms.
- Supporting the creation, implementation and updating of procedures aimed at ensuring that business processes comply with applicable regulations.
- Active participation in implementation projects, with particular emphasis on new technologies.
- Close cooperation with supervisory authorities, law firms and Compliance teams within Branches to ensure effective management of regulatory risk.
- Identification and implementation of optimisation measures within the compliance area.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a regulatory compliance role within a financial institution, law firm or consulting company.
- Good knowledge of capital market law and regulations applicable to investment firms (Brokerage Houses/Investment Firms).
- Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to apply legal provisions in practice.
- Experience in creating and updating compliance documentation, including internal policies and procedures.
- Independence, proactivity and a high sense of responsibility in carrying out assigned tasks.
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
- University degree in law.
