Our client is an international investment firm specialising in credit markets, operating across Europe and the UK. The company manages multi-billion-dollar assets and focuses on delivering strong returns through a fundamental and analytical approach to credit investing.
Due to dynamic growth, the organisation is expanding its Compliance structure and opening a new position within its Warsaw office.
Responsibilities:
- lead and execute full-cycle KYC and AML due diligence across private funds, trading counterparties, and professional vendors,
- conduct risk assessments, sanctions and PEP screenings, and enhanced due diligence for high-risk entities,
- act as a key Compliance representative in Warsaw, helping to create and implement local structure, procedures, and best practices aligned with global standards,
- support the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of KYC policies, procedures, and control mechanisms,
- collaborate with investment and operations teams, providing AML/KYC guidance and ensuring effective onboarding processes,
- maintain complete and compliant KYC documentation and support internal and external audit readiness,
- actively participate in process improvement and help shape the structure of the new compliance function.
Requirements:
- minimum 4-5 years of experience in full-cycle KYC/AML processes within financial or investment institutions,
- expertise in KYC operations and confidence in working autonomously within a developing structure,
- solid understanding of AML/CTF/CPF frameworks and international regulatory standards,
- proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset with a focus on process improvement,
- strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment,
- fluency in English - daily collaboration with the global Compliance team,
- availability for hybrid work (4 days per week from the Warsaw office, starting from 9:00),
- openness to business travel to the London HQ and readiness to work in a dynamic, evolving structure.
